CALDUM
Storing summer for winter
Caldum stores heat for months on end – compact, sustainable, fossil-free
Solar energy is abundant in summer. Heat demand peaks in winter. Caldum bridges that gap with compact heat storage: it stores summer heat compactly and delivers it months later as space heating and hot water. No gas boiler. Autonomous on solar and other sources, hybrid where that works better.
Suitable for off-grid energy systems and island-mode applications.

PRODUCT RANGE
Two configurations
From individual home to industrial heat network — Caldum scales with the application.
Caldum 1
Salt-based storage 80–225 °C for homes, utility buildings and small collective systems.
Caldum 2
Ore-based storage 80–450 °C or higher for larger buildings, industry and district heating.
Not every building fits a standard solution
Sometimes Caldum isn’t the right choice — different temperature ranges, different space constraints, a different programme. For those situations we design thermal storage to fit: water buffers, other PCMs, hybrid systems or combinations with existing installations.
Year-round
Caldum is our own product: a seasonal thermal buffer that stores solar energy and delivers heat and hot water all year. We are looking for pilot partners for the first real-world installations.
